Navy Continues Deliberative Process on Introduction of F-35C and OLF Draft EIS Schedule

In August 2009, the Department of the Navy announced a delay in the release of the OLF draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in order to consider potential environmental impacts related from the introduction of the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35C). As the F-35C EIS is essential in informing the OLF EIS, the Department continues the deliberative process. The Department of the Navy will provide updates on the timeline for the release of the draft EIS when that information becomes available.
